Our Story

Welcome to Ebenezer Entertainment, the creative force behind Corpus Christi Murder Mystery Theater, Shockra Dance Studio and over 20 years of theatrical arts productions. Founded by husband-and-wife duo Thomas and Jessica Nightingale, Ebenezer Entertainment brings a passion for the unsung Christmas delight that is Scrooge, as well as storytelling, laughter, and a mission to bring art and fun to everyday people.

  • Jessica is an accomplished performer, director, and producer with a rich background in the arts. Before relocating to Florida, she owned and operated SHOCKra Studio, a celebrated Manhattan dance studio that drew high-profile clients such as Lady Gaga, Ashanti, Marisa Tomei, and Fanny Neguesha.

Jessica's work has been showcased on TLC's Masters of Reception (produced by Kelly Ripa) and in choreography for global projects like the Coca-Cola World Cup Trophy Tour. Her Off-Broadway credits include productions at Urban Stages, and she holds a degree in Dance and Business from the College of William & Mary.

As an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), Jessica has worked alongside Broadway choreographers and staged original works for professional Equity performers with her company, SHOCKra Arts. She has also performed as Nurse Kelly alongside Charles Shaughnessy in Harvey.

  • Thomas attended the University of Florida for Performing Arts, where he trained as an actor as well crafting his range as a musical theater, rock and classical opera singer.

His career spans professional performances along the East Coast, where his commanding voice and stage presence have earned acclaim. Among his favorite roles are Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, both of which showcase his range as a performer and his passion for bringing complex characters to life.

Beyond the stage, Thomas is a talented filmmaker and writer. He is currently adapting a script based on the works of John Steinbeck and freelances with The Gersh Agency in Los Angeles, contributing his expertise in storytelling and production to projects across industries.
